This week had big expectations-- mom's favorite friends from Thomasville were due to spend a few days in Atlanta catching up & shopping the big city. But on Sunday afternoon, we got word that Leigh (that's Leigh in the middle) had an unexpected appendectomy on Saturday night and was in ICU with complications from surgery. Thankfully all continues to be well with Leigh, and she is getting the care that she needs to regain her strength. But with the Atlanta trip indefinitely on hold, mom and I decided to take the party to Thomasville...
On Thursday mom and I will head Thomasville, and back up to LaGrange on Friday afternoon for a spend night party with our favorite birthday boy. Will you say a prayer for MOST IMPORTANTLY Leigh's health, and that she continues to be well-- and traveling mercies for us as we treck the highway between Atlanta, Thomasville and LaGrange? We're so greatful for faithful friends, and thankful to have the opportunity to give some love back to Leigh after all that she has done for mom. We'll catch up when we're back...
