Last week my mom called to tell me we were officially low on inheritance funds...she made a last minute executive decision to take us all to Cirque Du Soliel's new show Ovo, and robbing Peter to pay Paul would just have to work. As you can imagine, Mandy and I screamed like children at the thought of my mom sucking the well dry!

Just kidding.

My mom often makes apologies for using money she's set aside for our future to pay for activities happening right now. My response is always the same-- I'd rather spend the money with you than without you. There is absolutely no time like the present, and my hope is that we suck the well dirt dry with all of the fun we have together!



We've loved (and seen every show!) Cirque Du Soliel since the day it debuted in Atlanta, so missing their newest would put a very large space in our long running history. What an absolute blast-- Ovo now sits at the top of my list of favorites, and if you get a chance (and have a piggy bank you can suck dry!) you should go see it before they're gone! This was the monkey's first time at the big top, so we were a little apprehensive of how the experience would play out...but boy did they love it!


My niece was in full circus mode after the show, only responding through sounds and hand gestures to get her point across...
